Welcome to the installation page for JASigning, the software developed at UEA. The software can be used with Internet Explorer on PCs and with Safari on Macs. It also works with Firefox on both platforms. Check for Java The client computer requires Java Runtime 1.5 or greater to be installed prior to this install. If you do not have the runtime installed, or have an earlier version, please check at www.java.com or use the Java button. Install the software An installer program will automatically download the JASigning software. Notes are provided on the installation process. Change your Java settings In order that Java can locate components used by the JASigning software, it is necessary to change the Java applet runtime settings using a control panel. Different instructions are given for PC and Mac installation. If in doubt, consult an IT expert. Restart your Browser Return to the Dictionary home page and view the dictionary.
