Welcome to the FAQ page for JASigning, the software developed at UEA. Can I avoid being asked to trust the software every time I use it? PC: In the security warning dialog, check the box marked "Always trust content from this publisher". Mac: In the dialogue asking you to trust the software, click on "Show Certificate" then check the box mared "Always trust these certificates". Why does the software fail to start up sometimes? If you can display the Java Console you may see a message that a module was "already loaded in another classloader". If so, the solution is to close the browser program and try again. Why does nothing happen when I click on a Sign button in Firefox? Firefox seems to lose a mouseclick after a sign is displayed. This means that you may have to click twice to get a sign to be animated. Why does the avatar stay on the top when I use tabs in Firefox on the Mac? There seems to be a bug in the graphics processing in Mac Firefox which means that the JASigning software should only be used in a window on its own. This problem does not appear in Firefox on Windows or in tabs in Safari on the Mac.
