Welcome to the page describing how to set MacOS X Java applet runtime parameters for JASigning, the software developed at UEA. If in doubt, consult an IT expert. To access the JASigning support files, the Library Path for Java Applets must be updated manually, using the Java Preferences app. The Web browser must be closed and re-launched for the Library Path update to take effect. Locate the Java Preferences program Open the Applications folder in the Finder. Open the Utilities subfolder of the Applications folder. Open the Java subfolder of the Applications folder. Open the Java Preferences program For Java 1.5 or later (J2SE 5.0): Open the J2SE 5.0 folder and launch the Java Preferences program. Select the General tab. For earlier Java versions: Launch the Java Plugin Settings program. Enter Java Runtime Parameters for JASigning Enter the following text in the Java (Applet) Runtime Parameters field: -Djava.library.path=/Library/JASigning094 The library path may need to be changed if you did not choose the default installation location. If settings already exist or you are in doubt, consult an IT expert. Close the Java Preferences program Close the settings window or quit the program.
